Most of our clients prefer continuity, cohesion and clarity on their dream projects so engage our Full Service to achieve this ongoing consistency and commitment. If you want to test your options, we offer Feasibility Studies as an add-on option as well.
Our deliverables include but are not limited to architectural drawings, basic three-dimensional (3D) views and a physical model. We’ll also offer virtual reality models in the near future.

You’re not certain about the best option for your project… we help you explore a few options through Feasibility Studies. This is particularly useful when considering factors like budget, safety or potential council limitations. We work with you through possible options and explore all possible constraints before moving forward. Building projects can be complex and it’s important to follow the right flow to achieve the best results. We compile findings into a report that can be presented to potential investors or stakeholders. This is a popular option for development, subdivision or mixed-use projects, anywhere where high-level decision making needs to be made with budget, design and council limitations at the forefront.

You have a great idea for an extension and want an architect to compliment the design of your home, we can definitely help you with that. In this Design Only stage, we work with you to experiment with ideas. We’ll still outline the project timeline, explore overall ideas and shapes and explore the best use of space, but we also develop 3 to 5 design concepts and work closely with you to refine the best option for your town planning submission (if required). In instances where town planning is not required, we go straight to the documentation stage to bring the chosen design to reality. This is usually the fun stage where we use external design ideas as inspiration and do not limit our imaginations.

With our most popular package, Design and Documentation, we’re working closely as partners to refine and narrow down your design concepts. Most clients want one contact (i.e. us) to manage drawings and permit options (where required). One contact person means smooth coordination of document collation and permits submission. We connect you with our trusted consultants and builders to ensure you’re matched with the right people to deliver your dream project.
We also provide you with a comprehensive set of drawings, so we know exactly what’s needed for your dream construction and so those of you who choose to be owner-builders have strong foundations to work from. We’re happy to adjust documentation to suit your specific needs.

As the name suggests, this service provides comprehensive support, guidance and handholding from design concepts to final build and includes all supporting documentation like drawings, town planning submissions, building permit submissions, construction documents and 3D imagery. It also includes oversight of contract administration, timeline monitoring and managing emergencies (like attending 6am site meetings if needed or making on-the-spot drawing changes where needed), contingency planning and managing key project stakeholders to ensure projects are kept tightly within budgets and desired timelines. You are in experienced hands to take you through the entire architectural process which is often a complex one. We will support you through a full service from Feasibility Study to Contract Administration to Build Completion or support you through a customized option to suit your needs.

Feasibility Study

When you need to test the viability of your build project, if it can be built within your budget or if council compliance will place limitations on your build idea. Feasibility studies will help clarify any limitations on the build. We explore all constraints before committing to the whole process.

Concept Design

This initial design stage is where we explore ideas, shapes and space arrangements. We also outline the approach and estimated timeline. This is a fun stage where you don’t limit your imagination and can be inspired by numerous external design ideas. We propose 3 to 5 design concepts at this stage. The chosen concept can be a mix of the various options we explore.

Design Development

At this stage we condense the chosen final ideas from the concept design stage into something workable. This is when we filter materials, finishes and plans based on the final concepts. We start talking to product reps, potential consultants and builders to prepare for the next stage. It is also where we complete preliminary cost checks to ensure we stay within your budget.

Town Planning Submission

Where required, we help you with town planning drawing submissions to ensure you meet ALL council regulations. We also support you with obtaining documentation from other stakeholders such as arborists, soil engineers or landscapers if further information is required for council submissions. If you need a town planning report based on the project complexity, we can assist with this or refer you to our trusted partners.

Construction Documentation

Once Town Planning Approval is obtained, we begin to transform your ideas into reality. This is the stage where we compile comprehensive drawings, so the specifics of your build vision are clearly outlined. Construction documentation are the blueprints for all builders to work from but also form the foundation for owner-builders to work from. We can tweak your drawings for whatever build option you choose.

Building Permit Submission

At this stage we submit documentation to a building surveyor for build approval. We work through the mandatory lists to ensure your final build will comply with the Australian Standards and Regulations. We help you navigate this often-complex stage and once approval is gained, we highlight specific conditions your builder will need to pay attention to during the build phase.

Contract Administration

It is always a great idea to have someone who understands building construction and knows site supervision to ensure construction is meeting agreed contracts. This is where we can add that extra value by being your ally ensuring that all building instructions and terms are being rigorously adhered to. There are always changes on any building project and what better way to have ease of mind than have us look after emergencies, contingencies or any changes along the way.

3D Imagery

3D images are now available as part of our standard design process. If you fall into the 80% of people who process things visually, then this is how you can easily visualise your dream project with the help of 3D imagery. It is also useful to provide this type of imagery to external stakeholders like building consultants or council to clearly show the design intent of your project.
