This heart project was focused on expanding the commercial kitchen for Sisterworks to continue their uplifting work of helping migrant women grow their skills. We initially explored expansion ideas at their headquarters in Abbotsford, but eventually settled on their existing and thriving café in Richmond. Our key focus was to ensure the expanded kitchen met all regulations without losing the warm and welcoming vibes. The retail space in the front of the café was also given a makeover with a fresh paint that added to an already vibrant atmosphere. The sisters now get to work, learn and get better at food handling in a warm, happy and spacious place.
